General terms and conditions for Bureau of Theme Parties Scandinavia AB
1. Parties / Company Information
1.1 The seller is Bureau of Theme Parties Scandinavia AB, corporate registration number 559496-4909, with postal address Lämmenäs 101, 612 91 Finspång, Sweden.
1.2 The customer is the one who orders and accepts these terms and conditions.
2. Scope
2.1 These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of digital downloadable games (theme parties) via our website.
2.2 In the future, if we introduce physical production, the terms will be expanded with section 6 below.
3. Agreement & delivery
3.1 An agreement is concluded when the customer makes a payment via one of the payment solutions we offer (Stripe) and receives an order confirmation.
3.2 Digital games are delivered immediately via download link/access.
3.3 For future physical orders, games will be sent (in pre-printed format), and shipping will be added as stated at the time of purchase.
4. Prices & payment
4.1 All prices are stated in Swedish kronor (SEK) including VAT (25%), unless otherwise specified.
4.2 For orders from other countries, prices may also be displayed in local currency through our payment solutions. The final amount charged depends on the payment provider's currency conversion and any fees.
4.3 Prices are quoted including Swedish VAT (25%). For purchases outside the EU, local taxes, duties or fees may apply. These are paid by the customer.
4.4 Payment is made via the payment solutions offered at checkout (Stripe). The customer accepts the respective payment service provider's own terms and conditions, which are separate from these terms and conditions.
5. Right of withdrawal & exceptions
5.1 For digital products, a 14-day right of withdrawal normally applies, according to the Distance Contracts Act.
5.2 However, the right of withdrawal is lost if the customer has begun downloading or using the product after expressly approving it.
5.3 For future physical products, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal applies from the date of delivery.
6. Future physical products & shipping
6.1 If games are delivered physically, a shipping cost will be added — this will be stated when ordering.
6.2 Risk & responsibility passes to the customer upon handover to the carrier.
6.3 Right of withdrawal and complaints apply according to point 5 and the Consumer Sales Act.
7. Complaints/Liability
7.1 In the event of technical problems (e.g. defective download link) or other complaints, please contact us via info@bureauofthemeparties.com . We undertake to take action within a reasonable time.
7.2 In the case of physical shipping: faulty or damaged goods are handled via complaint within a reasonable time (at least 14 days).
7.3 Liability is limited to direct damage caused by the Seller; indirect or consequential damage is not compensated.
8. Force majeure
The seller is not responsible for delays or deficiencies caused by circumstances beyond its control (e.g. power outages, operational disruptions).
9. Applicable law & disputes
9.1 Swedish law applies to the interpretation and application of the terms and conditions.
9.2 Disputes are primarily resolved by the Swedish National Complaints Board (ARN), or a Swedish court if ARN's decision is not binding or does not examine the dispute.
